Product Description

Titebond® WeatherMaster™ Gutter & Seam Sealant provides a highly weather-resistant seal against water, wind, dust and dirt. This long-lasting advanced polymer sealant retains resiliency and flexibility for years. 

Gutter & Seam Sealant was formulated specifically for sealing aluminum, galvanized and vinyl clad gutters and downspouts. This sealant has excellent adhesion to wood, metal, aluminum, steel, plastics, masonry and glass. It expands and contracts with the change of weather and will not crack.

Application Guidelines

Application Temperature Above 0°F (-18°C).

Service Temperature Range -75°F. to 300°F (-59°C to 149°C).

Method of Application Cartridge/caulking gun

Tooling Time For a 1/4" bead, approximately 20-40 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity.

Working Surfaces Surfaces must be cleaned down to the original substrate and free from any material that may deter adhesion. It is the sole responsibility of the user to thoroughly test any proposed use with all substrates to determine project suitability prior to using product on your application.

Cleanup Uncured material may be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol or equivalent solvent. After curing, excess sealant must be cut or scraped away. Follow solvent vendor’s precautions when using solvents. NOTE: Test solvent on an out-of-the-way area to make sure it will not mar or attack the surface.

Limitations

Air, sealant and surface temperature should be above 0°F(-18°C). Painting may occur one hour after application with a water-based (latex-based) paint. For other paint types, a compatibility test is recommended. It is very important that all surfaces be clean and free of dust, dirt, oil, rust, water and ice. Not designed for continuous submersion or use below the waterline. Store unused product in dry location at or below 80°F (27°C). Caution Statements

CAUTION: EYE AND SKIN IRRITANT. Do not swallow. Do not allow eye contact or prolonged skin contact. First Aid: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; contact physician. If eye contact occurs, flush with water for 15 minutes. Wash skin contact areas with soap and water. If irritation from eye or skin contact areas persists, contact physician.
